At the Tapson Education Foundation, we are passionate about allowing every child the opportunity to envision a better future for themselves regardless of family background.

The Foundation awards full-ride scholarships to needy students every year. Scholarships are merit-based and they cover the 360 degree needs of the students including; tuition, boarding, food, transportation, school supplies. The Foundation also partners with schools in providing school-wide support to meet critical needs such as feminine products. Would you believe that young girls often miss school due to the lack of feminine products?

Our long-term goal is to build a standalone school to support students from an early age and prepare them to become future leaders. 

Over the past 10 years, we have learned that many of the students that fail to keep up with our academic standards, were primarily impacted by their family's living conditions. 

In addition to economic challenges, Zimbabwe is one of the countries that was hardest hit by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Many of the students that need our support have lost one or both parents to the disease and are left to fend for themselves. Not surprisingly student grades suffer, as a result.
